Discipline. That is my word for 2015. I want to feel disciplined and focused and effective. Have you thought about how you want to feel in 2015?
2014 was a moment-to-moment, day-to-day, week-to-week miracle. As a newbie entrepreneur, I faced challenges this year that I never thought I’d face. It was the kind of year that you look back on and just want to fall to your knees and say, THANK YOU. I thought I knew what faith was before, but now I know I had just scratched the surface. I believed in the concept, but in many ways, I was cheating on faith. I told myself that I believed, but I was still allowing doubt to control my actions.
It was a naked year. There’s no way to be an entrepreneur and not feel vulnerable. Constantly stripping down, digging deeper, finding new levels of courage. Only faith to stand on. I surrendered to everything I'd spent my life hiding from. I see where I am now and where I was a year ago and wow, I am changing. Finally I’m embodying the entity I see behind my eyes when I look in the mirror.
We tend to think about things we want, experiences we want to have, accomplishments and goals. But how often do you think about the feelings those things will bring? That’s where we find true peace and fulfillment, when we know why we want what we want.
Give it some thought. How do you want to feel about your work? Your mate? Your finances? What about your health? Your personal development & growth? Even think about how you want to feel about your body, your wardrobe and your hair. Dust off your make-believe skills and use your imagination. Think about how it will feel to accomplish your goals. By evoking these feelings, you'll attract situations that bring the environment for your desires to manifest in reality.
I want to make room for higher vibrations and more gratitude. More courage and more grace. Creative freedom. Discipline! Insatiable drive. These are the intentions I'm taking into 2015.
Believe in your dreams and act as if they've already come true. Convince yourself.
Get excited for no tangible, seeable, practical reason.
Don't wait until the battle is over; shout & celebrate now. Have a party.
