How did Sassi get its start?
Sassi was founded 30 years ago by a chemist turned entrepreneur, who wanted to create high quality beauty products for professionals in the beauty industry to make the world more beautiful one step at a time. Our products range from lashes to nails and everything in between.
What inspired a line of Faux Mink Eyelashes?
Sassi has been offering affordable eyelashes for over a decade. When we saw mink lashes becoming popular, we were shocked at the exorbitant prices of real mink lashes and saddened by the animal cruelty required to produce them. So, we created an affordable and cruelty free option for those who wanted to try them without harming any animals.
What are your Faux Mink Lashes made from?
The lash hairs are made with PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), a synthetic fiber, which is a high-quality polymer made with no animal derived ingredients and BPA-free. The individual lash hairs are tapered for the most natural look.
How natural do they feel?
While the feeling of lashes can take a little getting used to, 3D lashes are super lightweight, soft, and comfortable on the eye. The flexible band contours to the eye shape for maximum comfort. If it's your first-time wearing lashes, you may feel some discomfort in the first few minutes, but you should get used to it quickly.
Are they reusable?
YES! As long as you clean off as much make up and eyelash glue from the lash band as possible, these lashes should last you multiple wears. We recommend storing them in the tray to preserve the band shape and brushing the lashes out with a spoolie for the best results. Do not wash in hot water as it can affect the shape of the curls.
At one point, women would shy away from big dramatic eyelashes. Why do you think they are such a trend now?
Accentuating the eyes has always been the key to classic beauty. Recently, full, dramatic lashes have been growing in popularity. Women are using makeup to empower themselves, and more people are choosing bolder looks that they may have shied away from before. This is especially true with the growing beauty presence on social media, as people are experimenting with different looks and seeing other women look beautiful in bold lashes.
Are the 3D Lashes heavy?
We have a variety of styles, ranging from light, natural looks to bold, dramatic lashes. The bolder styles may feel heavier upon application, but typically, any discomfort from the lashes will go away after a few minutes of wear.

How does the eyelash glue dry?
The adhesion of our eyelash glue dries clear. Those who are new to wearing false eyelashes may prefer the clear glue, but many people prefer the dark glue, as they do not need to apply additional eyeliner on top of the lashes.
What are the key ingredients in the Eyelash Glue?
Besides the latex that adheres the lashes to your eye, the Sassi Eyelash Glue has natural plant extracts like calendula and borage to minimize damage to the natural lash and lash line by reducing irritation and conditioning the lashes.
It’s very nice that you don’t use any toxic ingredients like formaldehyde or parabens in Eyelash Glue. What does the term NOP mean?
The NOP organic certification is used to label products that a certain percentage of the product is organic.
Will this glue harm your natural eyelashes?
To minimize harm to your natural lashes, you need to take care while removing the false lashes. By applying a small amount of makeup remover on a cotton swab to the lash line, the lash glue comes off easily, so you don't need to pull on the lashes to get them off. It'll remove gently and preserve your natural lashes.
Is it waterproof?
Yes, both the eyelash glue in dark and clear are waterproof! Makeup artists swear by our glue for weddings.
How long does the glue last?
The lashes will stay on until you want them to come off. We recommend removing strip lashes daily, but Sassi Salon Eyelash Glue can hold individual flare lashes for multiple days.

If this is your first time trying false eyelashes, here are some instructions to apply them like a pro!
- Prep your natural lashes by curling them with an eyelash curler.
- Measure lash band against your eye and cut any excess if necessary
- Apply Sassi Eyelash Glue along the base of the false lashes. (Never apply directly to your eyelids!)
- Let set for 30 seconds or until sticky. During this time, holding the lash by both ends of the base strip, flex it back and forth forming the shape of a horseshoe. This contours the base strip to fit your lid easily and comfortably.
- Center the lash close to the base of your natural lashes and press ends into place. To secure the lash firmly, gently press down the lash strip form one end to the other until adhesive is dry.
- You can apply a coat of mascara and use eyelash curler to curl your natural eyelashes and false eyelash together.
