When did Babe launch?
Babe Lash launched in 2013 as an extension of Babe Hair, a hair extension company, in Salt Lake City, UT! In 2017, Babe Lash separated from Babe Hair to pivot to the beauty and cosmetics industry, expanding into national distribution with Cosmoprof.
Is it true that you are changing your name from Babe Lash to Babe Original?
Yes, it is!
What inspired this name change?
In looking at our business and what we have already built, we realized Babe Lash grew beyond what we originally anticipated it to be. We wanted our name to reflect what we represent - and that’s more than just lashes. With this change, we’re looking to being a more sustainable, accessible and affordable brand to make this a brand anyone can stock their makeup bags with.
When will this change be official?
We made our public announcement in April 2022, and are officially rebranding to Babe Original as of June 2022 with an all new look and feel, packaging, and pricing. We’re so excited for this new chapter!
How did Babe get its start?
Babe originally got its start with our proprietary, #1 selling lash serum Essential Serum. We used to only sell to distributors and salons, but expanded into direct to consumer in 2018. Since then, we’ve expanded our product line into multiple offerings such as award-winning mascaras, brow products, lip products, and tools.
How was the Essential Serum received?
To this day the Essential Serum is our #1 best seller! We love hearing the positive feedback from our incredible community about how much more confident they feel after consistent use, thanks to their enhanced natural lashes.
How often should you use the Essential Serum?
Every night on both eyes! Beginners should apply serum every 2-3 days and work up to nightly use once eyes are used to the product.
How much should you apply?
You only need 1 dip for both eyes. Apply a thin line just above your upper lash line on clean, dry skin just like eyeliner. Wait 1-2 minutes for it to dry before touching your eyes or applying another product.
How soon will you see results?
Everyone’s a little different - some people start seeing progress as soon as 4 weeks in! We recommend taking before & after photos along the way and comparing your results after 12 weeks of consistent use.
Is this safe to use with lash extensions?
YES! Our lash treatments are oil-free and safe to use with extensions and strip lashes.
What if I stop using it?
Once you stop applying Essential Serum, your lashes will slowly return back to your natural look. We recommend applying serum 2-3 times a week to maintain your look once you're satisfied with results!

Our mascaras are water-resistant, so you can jump in the pool or shed some happy tears without worrying about anything running down your cheeks. Water-proof products are usually made with really drying ingredients that make your lashes brittle over time. We prefer water-resistant formulations to create super hydrating formulas that can still withstand water, are easier to remove, and gentler on your lashes.

This will vary from person to person!
