How did Perfec-Tone get its start?
Perfec-Tone found its start some 40+ years ago when Lila Pinder took note of the lack of representation and products of and for Black persons. Filled with the desire to correct the issue, Lila started her own company in 1980, Lila’s Skin Care, which featured products and treatments that were formulated specifically for melanin rich skin. In 2010, Lila’s son, Arron Pinder became the CEO of the company and rebranded Lila’s Skin Care into what we now know as Perfec-Tone. With this rebranding, Perfec-Tone now has a more modern touch and is accessible worldwide.
