Fourteen years ago I started COCOTIQUE because women of color were an afterthought in beauty. Not a target market, not a priority, an afterthought. I wanted a box where our skin, our hair, and our needs were the whole point instead of a line item, and where the brands inside were often built by people who looked like us.

You made that work. Every month, year after year. I have read your emails about the product that finally worked, the brand you now buy on your own, the box you sent to your sister. That has been the honor of my career, and I don't say that lightly.

So I want to tell you directly: September was our last monthly subscription box.

This isn't an ending. It's a change in how we show up for you.

Something shifted over the past few years. The questions you brought us stopped being only about products. They were about hair loss and what was actually causing it. About being dismissed in a doctor's office. About sleep, and stress, and how to find a provider who listens. Our Health, Beauty & Wellness Hub started as a small corner of the site, and it became the thing you engaged with most.

That told me something. The gap I set out to fill fourteen years ago has moved. There are more beauty boxes now, and more brands built for us, which is good news and partly the point. What there still isn't enough of is honest, well-researched health and wellness information written for us, without the fear-mongering and without the fluff.

So that's what COCOTIQUE is becoming: a health, beauty, and wellness media brand. Content, research, real answers, published consistently and free to read. We're entering this new era alongside Her Health and Wellness Initiative. Two organizations, one shared purpose: helping women of color become more informed, empowered, and proactive about their health.

And the boxes aren't gone forever. Expect limited-edition drops when a collaboration is right, with no set schedule.

Fourteen years is a long time to be let into someone's routine. Thank you for the trust and for staying. We've celebrated your beauty for 14 years. Now, let's celebrate your health. Here's to the magic of new beginnings, and I hope you'll come with us.
