Each month, you will receive a COCOTIQUE Box with 5-8 expertly curated beauty and lifestyle samples for women of color delivered to your door. Your COCOTIQUE Box will include a variety of samples from skin care, hair care, fragrance, nail and lifestyle companies. Our subscription boxes ship during the first week of the month. The cut-off date each month to subscribe is the 23rd to receive the next month's edition. For example, if you order by May 23rd, you will receive the June Box. About COCOTIQUE:

What is COCOTIQUE?
COCOTIQUE is a deluxe box subscription service for women of color. Each month COCOTIQUE sends you a specially curated box filled with 5-8 deluxe sample size and full size beauty and lifestyle products for just $20 including FREE SHIPPING. After trying out the products, you can then purchase the full size products in the COCOTIQUE shop. We offer an exciting and fun experience for women of color who love beauty and are in search of an affordable way to try new beauty and lifestyle brands. Our service is like a magazine subscription: we ship your subscription box once a month during the first week of the month.

What kinds of products will I receive in my box?
You will receive samples from hair care, skin care, makeup, fragrance and lifestyle companies.

SUBSCRIPTIONS:

How much are the subscriptions?
Recurring monthly subscriptions are $20, 6-month subscriptions are $112, and 12-month subscriptions are $220. All subscriptions will be charged tax if you live in NJ.

Can I cancel my monthly subscription?
A monthly recurring subscription can be cancelled at anytime, but the first month cannot be cancelled and is not refundable. If you wish to cancel after the first month, you must do so by five days before your subscription is set to renew in order to avoid having your credit card charged. For example, if your recurring subscription payment is on the 10th of the month, you must cancel by the 5th of the month. Please also send an email to support@cocotique.com notifying us of your cancelled account. 

Can I cancel my 6-month or yearly subscription?
No, these subscriptions are paid in advance and cannot be cancelled.

How do I renew my subscription after cancelling?
You can renew by logging into your account and placing a new order.

Are 6-month or 12-month subscriptions automatically renewed?
No, if you would like to renew your 6 month or 12 month subscription when it expires you can log into your Account to purchase a new subscription.

Why was my subscription deactivated?
If we are not able to charge your credit card, your subscription will be deactivated.

Do you have gift subscriptions?
Yes, you can gift a monthly, 6 month or 12 month subscription.

How do I redeem my gift subscription?
You will receive an email with a code to redeem your gift subscription.
1. Place an order for your subscription.
2. Create an account by providing your email address and password.
3. Log in to your account.
4. For the Payment Information – Use Gift Card to Checkout.
5. Enter your Gift Card Code and click Add Gift Card.
6. Go to checkout to finish ordering your subscription.

When will my subscription start?
Our boxes ship once a month during the first week of the month.  If you place your order from 1-23 of the month, your first box will ship the following month. Boxes are always one month ahead and the deadline to order is always the 23rd of the previous month. For example, if you subscribe on by September 23, you will receive the October Box – which would be the next box that would ship. If you subscribe on September 24, then you would receive the November Box.

What does it mean when my order is exported?
We export orders between the 24-25th of each month. This means we have exported your subscription order information to send to our warehouse. This is the first step to preparing to ship your order. We typically ship around 7-10 business days after your order has been exported.

My subscription’s been canceled, how do I reactivate it?
You will have to re-subscribe to set up a current account. Go to the Subscribe page and choose what type of subscription you would like. After logging in to your account on the checkout page, you will then be able to update your credit card information or address if needed when you check out.

How can I get a refund if I’m unhappy with my box?
We are very sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with your box. Unfortunately, the boxes are not refundable. As hard as we try, we are not able to please everyone each month, but this is a discovery platform to try and sample new products. When you subscribe, you are subscribing with the knowledge that you will be receiving many different types of products and maybe some won’t work for you. We hear from some of our subscribers that they’re happy to share their products with their friends and family if the products or some of the products don’t work for them that month.

My tracking info says my package was delivered, but I haven’t received it yet. What should I do?
From our experience with the Postal Service, who makes the final delivery, the postal service status isn’t correct and the package is most likely held at your local post office. Please contact or stop by your local post office for further details on your package.

 

BILLING:

When will I be billed for my monthly subscription?
Your credit card will be charged on the day you purchase your subscription and for each subsequent month you keep your recurring subscription active on that same day.  For example, if you purchased your monthly subscription on July 7, you will be charged each subsequent month on the 7th unless you cancel.

When will I be billed for my 6-month or 12-month subscription?
Your credit card will be charged for the full amount of the subscription when you place your order. Each month you will receive notification when your box will ship until the last month of your subscription. When your subscription expires it will not be automatically renewed, you will have to log into your account to renew your subscription.

What types of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

Why is my account being charged again and I haven’t received my first box yet?
COCOTIQUE is a recurring monthly subscription service, which means your credit card is charged each month on the anniversary of your first payment. For example, if you signed up for your subscription early in the cycle your card will be charged again before you receive your first box. If you signed up on June 24, your next payment would be on July 24, but your first box will not be shipping until the first week of August. Our new subscription cycle starts on the 24th of the month and ends on the 23rd of the following month. We typically ship during the first week of the following month.

SHIPPING:

When will my box ship?
Subscription Boxes - Our boxes ship once a month during the first week of the month.  If you place your order between the 1st - 23rd of the month, your box will ship during the first week of the next month. For example, if you place your order on February 6, your box will ship during the first week of March. If you place your order after the 23rd of the month, your box will ship during the first week of the following month. For example, if you place your order on February 24, your box will ship during the first week of April.

Previous Boxes in the COCOTIQUE Store - Boxes from previous months that are ordered from the COCOTIQUE Store will ship within 24 - 48 hours (not including weekends - we ship M-F).

How much is shipping?
Subscription Boxes - There are no shipping charges for subscription boxes. 

Previous Boxes in the COCOTIQUE Store - There is a $5 Flat Rate shipping fee (per box) for ordering previous boxes from the COCOTIQUE Store. For example, if you order 2 previous boxes from the COCOTIQUE Store, you will be charged $10 for shipping.

Is there tax charged?
We are required to charge sales tax for boxes shipping to NJ.

When will I receive my COCOTIQUE Box?
You will receive your box 3-5 days after you receive notification that your box has shipped. There will be a tracking number emailed to you so you may track your shipment.

Where do you ship?
Currently, we ship only to the Contiguous US, which includes the lower 48 states. Unfortunately, we no longer ship to AK, HI. We are working on adding these states, as well as shipping to Canada, Europe and the Caribbean.

How do I track my package?
You will receive an email when your box ships with your FED EX tracking number. Please be sure to add contact@cocotique.ship-confirm.com to your contact list so your email doesn’t go to your Spam Box. We have some customers who say they haven’t received their tracking number and then discover the email in their Spam Box. We ship via Fed Ex SmartPost which means the initial package is sent via FED EX to your local post office which you can track via the FED EX tracking number at FedEx.com. If there’s a problem with the post office delivering your box or it’s late you can track it at USPS.com by adding the numbers 92 to the beginning of your FED EX tracking number to track the shipment’s status in the USPS system. Please track your package before contacting Customer Service and if you still have a question, we’ll be more than happy to assist you.

What if my box or products are damaged?
Please take a picture and send to support@cocotique.com, so we can process a replacement.

What if my box is sent to the wrong address?
Please be sure that you have provided the correct address when placing your order. We cannot be held responsible if you’ve provided an incorrect address and your box is delivered to the wrong address. If you’ve entered in the wrong address or need to update your address email us at support@cocotique.com before the 20th of the month so we can make the adjustment in your account before your box ships. Once an order has been shipped, we will not be held responsible for a shipment to the wrong address if you have entered in an incorrect address.  If it is sent to the wrong address, due to you entering in the wrong address, and you would like to have it reshippped, the shippin fee is $5.  If you decide not to pay for shipping and you would like a refund, we charge a 20% restocking fee that is deducted from your refund.

When I track my box it states it was delivered but I didn't receive it?

We’re sorry to hear that! Unfortunately, once boxes have shipped from our warehouse, their final arrival is the responsibility of your local post office. We suggest you contact your local post office to find out the status of your delivery. 

Why does it take so long for you to ship my box?
We are a subscription service that ships once a month during the first week of the month. If you subscribe early in the month before the cut-off date on the 23rd, it may seem like you're waiting a long time. However, that is the way our service works. We ship all monthly subscription boxes during the first week of the month.

UPDATING ACCOUNT INFORMATION:

How do I cancel my account?
Log into your account. Then click on My Subscriptions > Edit (active subscription) > Cancel subscription
Please send an email to support@cocotique.com to notify us that you’ve canceled your account. You will receive an email confirming your cancellation. We must receive notification at least five days before your subscription is set to renew.

How do I update my address?
Log into your account. Then click on My Subscriptions > Edit (active subscription) > Change Billing Address/Change Shipping Address

Please send an email to support@cocotique.com to notify us of the change and specify if the new address is for both Shipping and Billing or just Shipping.  You will receive an email confirming your address update. We must receive notification five days before your subscription is set to renew.  If we don't receive your updated address in time and your box is sent to the wrong adress, there will be $5 shipping fee to send you a replacement box. 

How do I update my credit card information?
If your account is Active: Log into your account. Then click on My Subscriptions > Edit (active subscription) > Change Payment Method

If your account is Canceled: Log into your account. Then click on My Subscriptions > Edit (canceled subscription) > Scroll to the bottom of the page and go to > This subscription is not active. If you want activate it, please click here > Add new subscription to Shopping Bag > Enter new credit card information at checkout.

Please send an email to support@cocotique.com to notify us of what changes you've made when you updated your credit card information. You will receive an email confirming the changes have been made.

My subscription’s been canceled, how do I reactivate it?
You will have to re-subscribe to set up a current account. Go to the Subscribe page and choose what type of subscription you would like. After logging in to your account on the checkout page, you will then be able to update your credit card information or address if needed when you check out.

Yes, they expire after one year from the date they were first earned.

After you accumulate 800 COCOHearts you will earn a free COCOTIQUE Box.
