PRODUCT REVIEW: UBTAN TUMERIC FACE MASK RESHMA BEAUTY
Turmeric is the hot new craze, not just for lattes, but for skin care too! Did you know that Turmeric has a ton of great benefits when used on your skin? Yes, this powerful spice can help your skin with inflammation and acne while leaving you with brighter skin that glows. Check out our Founder/CEO, Dana Hill, as she shows you how to DIY at home and read all about how Reshma Beauty used natural healing ingredients to create the Ubtan Turmeric Face Mask and the benefits of these ingredients.
What are the key ingredients of the Ubtan Turmeric Face Mask?
Ubtan Turmeric Face Mask is made of four simple natural ingredients: Gram (chickpea flour), Turmeric powder, Barley flour, and Sandalwood powder
What are the benefits of these ingredients?
Turmeric possesses anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anticarcinogenic properties, and has been found to assist the healing process in many health and skin issues, including acne and psoriasis.
Barley flour helps re-hydrate the skin, improve skin elasticity and tighten pores.
Gram is a skin brightener, helping lighten dark spots and pigmentation, while Sandalwood acts a mild exfoliant, unclogging pores and removing fine facial hairs.
Is this for all skin types?
Absolutely! Ubtan Turmeric Face Mask comes in easy to mix powder form, and can be mixed with different liquid ingredients to achieve either a more moisturizing, or astringent effect.
Can you mix the powder with anything else other than water?
For Dry skin: use plain unsweetened yogurt, milk, or heavy whipping cream
For Oily or Combination skin: use Reshma Beauty Rose Water Toner
How long should you leave the mask on?
The usual suggested time is 7-10 minutes, or until the mask is dry. However, it’s important to remember that Turmeric root does have a natural yellow pigment. For people whose skin is lighter-toned or is more prone to pigmenting – we suggest you start at 3 minutes, and gradually increase the amount of time if you see no pigmenting.
How often should we use this mask?
For problematic, acne-prone skin it is recommended to use Ubtan daily.
For regular skin, optimum results can be achieved by applying the mask every other day, or 3 times a week.
What can we expect after using?
Reduced acne and puffiness, cleansed pores, and naturally glowing skin!
What follow up product do you suggest after using the mask?
