Larissa Dubose: Sales Manager and Author, The Lotus Files

Larissa C. Dubose is a Sales Manager in the Wine Industry based in Atlanta GA, and author of The Lotus Files, a chronicle of her experience with losing her mother to Breast Cancer. She's often on the go for work, traveling the Southeast region of the country, so she really has to make the time to keep up her beauty regimen. She's the first to admit that her nails are the first to get neglected because of this and she always vows to do better. She's a firm believer of living life to the fullest and has never come across a situation that a glass of wine or champagne couldn't fix. Here, Larissa shares what she keeps in her Ultimate Beauty Arsenal, whether at home or on the road.

Hair:
Curly- Miss Jessie's Multi Cultural Curls, and Aveda Be Curly (both products work great with my combination curl pattern), Frizz Ease Mousse, Giovanni Frizz Be Gone Hair Serum

Straight-I straighten my own hair with a Titanium Flat Iron and go to my Stylist for a trim, color or for special occasions. Oribe Royal Blow Out is a must to get my hair flawlessly straight, and I love Giovanni Frizz Be Gone Hair Serum and Frizz Ease Glossing Mist

Makeup:
Makeup Forever Pro Finish Powder because I’m not a heavy foundation fan, and because of my oily skin I prefer a matte look; Smashbox CC Cream (to cover up occasional breakouts); Benefit Cosmetics Brow Zings because the wax allows me to define my light eyebrows and holds the powder in place; Smashbox Lip Gloss, Urban Decay Eyeliner, L’Oréal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara (oldie but goodie); Mac Loose Powder Bronzer because everyone should have a little sparkle in their day, Darling!

Skin care:
Clarisonic MIA 2 Brush provides a deep clean for my acne prone skin and is a great pick me up in the morning. Eminence Clear Skin Probiotic Cleanser is an organic product that smells refreshing and is gentle enough for use with my topical Rx Meds. I use organic Witch Hazel as my toner.

Nails:
I'm giving my nails a break and currently going au naturale. My go-to nail color is usually by OPI or Essie. If I paint my own nails, Essie Good to Go topcoat is a must. In a quick time pinch and if I can't get a mani, I'll go to CVS and get the nail stickers.

Fragrance:
Prada Candy or Versace Woman. I don't own a lot of different perfumes because I believe a woman should have a signature fragrance that always reminds you of her.

Beauty Indulgence:
The occasional spa day complete with Swedish massage and pedi!
