In 3-5 sentences, who are you and what is your profession?
My name is D. Glasgow Skinner and, of course, I'm a blogger with a background in PR, but I am also a Freelance Social Media Coordinator.
What is your claim to blogging fame?
I don't think I have a claim to blogging fame. I'm a lifestyle blogger, so I cover lifestyle topics like fashion, beauty, technology, food and snacks, etc. I will note that I do not feature myself in my posts; I'm not the typical "what I'm wearing today" blogger.
What 3 products are in your ultimate beauty arsenal and why?
Boscia Blotting Sheets - I have very oily skin and couldn't live without these. I thank the beauty gods they exist.
Maybelline Red Revival Lipstick - After years of searching, I've discovered this is my perfect red. It totally transforms and complements so many skin tones.
Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse - With oily skin comes imperfections and this foundation covers all my imperfections (thank goodness.)
What drew you to blogging and what is your favorite thing about it?
My blogging career started after a year of regaling stories of events I attended to friends and introducing them to products I was introduced to, whether I liked those products or not, etc. They kept telling me I should start a blog and I would laugh it off but after that year I decided, why not? My favorite thing is still telling people about the products and events. I like introducing someone to something they may enjoy.
Who is your beauty icon, and why?
I don't have one beauty icon, I just admire women who break beauty boundaries and destroy the "status quo" of what people think is beautiful.
Which beauty/fashion trends are you most looking forward to for spring?
One of my favorite things is color, so I'm really looking forward to the vibrant beauty color palettes spring has to offer. For fashion it's all about bold colored footwear for me.
